Does anyone know if a JD model 48 loader will fit a JD model 1050 tractor? Is there a guide available that tells me what loaders will fit my JD 1050?

I looked the JD parts and it only shows an PDF of the parts manual for the 48 but the good news is the second page or so ... has a para which list your 1050! Here is the URL for the site .. http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/pdfs/PC1108.PDF

Thanks Leo but I don't see the 1050 listed on that parts list. It does list the 1020 though. I also see where it lists a universal frame mount for any tractor except xxxx so maybe that will work. I just don't want to buy the loader if it's not going to fit my 1050 or if I'm going to have buy a bunch of parts that will put my cost so high it's not worth it.

I'm sorry that sure looked like a 1050 instead of a 1020 ... but you are correct ... I would talk with the JD Dealer in your area or fire off an email to JD tech support ... also there are many after market manufacturers of FEL's ... once again sorry for the mix up on my part ...

I just googled this :John Deere 1050 Loader and got several hits of 1050's with loaders ... I saw 1050's with JD #75 and #80 and Koyer Loaders ... also go to Tractor House, Used Tractors at TractorHouse.com: John Deere Tractors, used farm tractors and farm equipment, Case IH, New Holland, Agco, Caterpillar. and you can see more 1050's with loaders ... I hope this helped you ...
