We have been users for John Deere golf equipment over the past 3 years. In fact, we were even happy with the Deere Equipment. But when the leases reached their expiration John Deere did not want us to solicit bids from other manufacturers like Toro. Deere would not provide release of liens or other information that would have allowed us to proceed. Even though we offered to buyout equipment, the Deere Salesman stated "we would be sorry" if we tried to use another manufacturer of golf equipment. Has anyone else on this board had similar experiences ? Has anyone been able to refinance and purchase equipment other than Deere without similar hassles ? In either case, we would appreciate anyones comments.
