Hi, I'm a new member and had some questions about an F1145. I just purchased it used and it seems to be in good mechanical order. I want to do some servicing on it and am curious of what components I should service. I'll change the oil and filter, grease the chassis, change the fuel filter and air filter. Is there anything else I should "mess" with before putting it into service? I just bought 3.5 acres with a large house (needs rehab) that I've got to de-brush. It's very overgrown with weeds, grass, small trees, etc.
And does anyone know how to get cross-reference on the filters so I don't have to make trips to John Deere? I'm an auto mechanic by trade and can easily get filters from the local part store. I also own the repair facility I work at, nothing like being your own boss.
