I have found what I beleive is a 1440 no till j.d. planter with #80 planter units on it. Does anyone know if it would be a good idea to try to restore just the planter units, everything else is rusted beyond repair, like the fertilizer tanks, etc. I was thinking of trying to just utilize the planter units and make a couple of two row planters... Please advise your thoughts and if there are parts available if needed... Thanks... I have an MT J.D. with mounted two row cultivator that works really good and need a planter...
