I called the local deere dealership today to order some rear wheel weights. While on the phone I asked the salesman if any progress had been made resolving the brake issue. He told me that it had been resolved and the tractor is scheduled for delivery on 10-10-14.

Yes I just parked it in the barn. It is quite different from the 5320. Pictures to follow.

I have enjoyed the upgrade tremendously. The brakes do not work well though. Sometime not at all. Very different from the 5320.

The air seat was money well spent. Much better than the mechanical suspension seat on the 5320.

The brakes do work a little bit better after some use. The thing that is a bit disappointing is the dealer experienced this issue. This delayed the delivery by about a week so I was hopping it was fixed.

Also the power beyond was not installed, so the tractor has to go back to dealer sometime next week. I guess they will check out the brakes again.

Although I did not order the power reverser modulator, the tractor came with one installed. It turns out to be quite handy.

Now for a question. On the 5320 the tires were set as wide as possible without using spacers. On this new tractor the tires are as close together as they can be. It is surprising how narrow it is. Will I gain any noticeable benefit by setting the tires at the widest setting?

I meant give the brakes 100 hours of use before judging them. They are prob designed to last a long time and the discs haven't even got the protective coating off yet.
