I have a 2001 John Deere 445 tractor with the 22 HP kawasaki engine with 627 hours on tractor. It has been sitting outside for about 8 years in the weather. Used to be my fathers but was given to me after he passed last year. Never got the chance to ask why he parked it. It was always a good tractor. Left side coil pack was bad but replaced it with a good spare coil pack step father happened to have stored. Also replaced old spark plugs with new plugs. Checked for spark using plug sparker indicator tool. Right side fires weak and left side fires weak when it does fire. Talked to technician at John Deere for help and he told me to check the hot wires going to the coil packs with a voltage meter to see if they were getting 12 volts. Voltage meter showed hots were getting 12.13 volts so it seems its getting the right amount of power. What else can i do to try and get it to start? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
