John Deere 4400

Stopped by the dealer thursday to look at some hydraulic options for my 4300 and to look for a lawn mower. Over in the corner lot sitting there as pretty as can be was a 4400 with 840 hours with a 430 fel with a clamshell bucket and a 60 inch deck. Well I wandered over to take a look and thats all it took. I got to figuring it might be kinda nice to be able to use the same attatchments for each tractor and since I was already familiar with my 4300 and such.... why not. The dealer was nice enough to give me the previous owners phone number and he loved the tractor and cared for it as if it was kin, so now I am the proud owner of another tractor. I dont think I permantly fixed my dilema of wanting a big tractor for my 80 acres and lawn mower for the farm house but got something that will work for both now. I hope by fall to have the house remodeled and be moved in and living on the farm, but for the seeable future it will be keeping two places up, trying to remodel one house while trying to sell the other house with an hour drive between the two Got grant me the strength to get her done without getting divorced!!

Congratulations, having two tractors is almost a necessity with different properties and sure makes life a lot easier.
