Thanks for your response. I am at the point of needing to try to get at the valve so I can take them out because a couple of local hydraulics shops indicated they might be able to source something that will work. Unfortunately, I am not a mechanic and I hesitate to start taking the tractor apart for fear I will break something or not be able to put it back together properly! It is located under the seat. Maybe there's a Youtube video for that - I have not looked!
In any case, I had a tractor mechanic find the original leak and it was a pin hole in the plug. He took it to a welder and it worked for a short time; however, I am guessing the weld failed because as soon as I put a big load on the system the oil started squirting out the same plug. So, not likely just an o-ring issue.
