John Deere 4200, 4300 Side Panel Covers

I have broken tabs on my 4300 left side engine cover panel Does anyone have a Good Left Side Panel for a 4300 John Deere that you are willing to let go? Or any info. on a Good Salvage Yard? Or any experience with the Flip Manufacturing Side Panel Kit?

I found this listed on AMazon for $250 but it appears that you have to do some custom work to get the screens installed in the replacement panels.

I cut a couple of short pieces of aluminum angle and pop riveted them to where the tabs broke on my 4310 side panels. Has been working fine for almost a year. Make sure and use large head rivets or washers on the plastic side.

I did basically the same thing for the side covers om my '79 Goldwing. I made aluminum replacement tabs and epoxied them on. Stronger than OEM.

Same here, 3/32" thick aluminum angle and JB Weld with a couple pop rivets to hold in place while epoxy cures. My panels were already replaced by previous owner with the aftermarket version. .
