I have a 2005 John Deere 4120 ehydro 600 hours.

When I use an implement (tiller or brush hog), the implant stops spinning under load. Once I lift the implement from the ground it starts spinning again. I have the correct RPM running, engine never bogs down. I don't use this tractor often, and have had it for 10 years, never used to be like this.

Tranmission fluid looks very clean, going to replace the fluid, filter and clean the inline filter. Not sure this will help. Need ideas of what could be the cause.

From what you describe it seems like tour pto clutch pack is slipping, but with only 600 hr it shouldn't be from wear, I am thinking maybe something like debris in an oil passage is preventing pressurized oil that engages and keeps the clutch engaged from getting there.
