JD 4120 Hydro
I have a 4120 hydro with 350 hours. Problem is the tractor just stops in its tracks. The RPM's stay the same. I have to let off the pedal completly before it will move again. This seems to happen at any time, load or no load. Any ideas about what could be causing this. Just did run out of warranty!!

Is the display showing any error code?

your tractor is controlled by the Drive control computer. The DCC takes input from the fly wheel sensor,FWD sensor, Throttle pot, forward and reverse pots, and the seat switch. check these first.

My dad's 3720 had the problem where it wouldnt move. He was just driving along and it just stopped in its tracks. It turns out that the wire to the seat switch had a break in it making the tractor think you werent in the seat. Got the wire fixed and its been great ever since. The wire broke where the seat folds up so you can keep water off of your seat. You couldnt see the wire underneith the plastic tubing though.
