john deere 345 garden tractor

Am trying to find the book value of a john deere 345 garden tractor with an 18 hp kawasaki engine,water cooled.Hydrostatic tansmission,54"deck,440 hours.I don't know the year,but I am guessing this model corresponds with certain years.Can anyone tell me how much,or where I can go to find the info?Is there a book ?

I sold my mom's 345 this spring. I stopped at my local dealer and they suggested $3500 - $4000. This tractor was the last year of the 18HP motor (1998) with the 54" deck. 220 hours on the meter. In good shape overall, a few scratches in the paint but overall in very good condition.

I have seen 345's priced at $4500 or higher but they don't seem to be moving. $4K is probably a good place to start.
