Any thoughts on why my fuse (in the steering column) would have blown when I tried turning the blower on high during the winter? When I powered up the heater was on and the blow on low. I smelled a faint burning smell and tried turning the blower up on to high and bam -- electronics blinked and the radio and blower stopped. Rest came back and I could go plow the snow but without heat or radio (blown fuse). Was originally thinking a mouse nest in the blower, but watching your video that seems less likely.

Anybody know if there is a separate electric heater used when on heat mode or if it just uses engine heat like a car? I have been assuming no separate electric heater but will check that if there is one.

My Kubota uses relays to run the blower motors (multi speed). Maybe yours does as well.
Received a new blower from eBay and it was wired for a direct drop in (amazing) and it works great. Must have been a bad blower. Now replacing the gasketing around the roof and bolting the roof on and should be good to go. Thank you so much @seville009 for posting that video! It gave me the confidence and direction to tackle this myself and resolve for less than 1/2 the price of just transporting the tractor to get it fixed, let alone their repair price!
