John deere 3235a tire wobble.

Hello, I have a JD 3235a lightweight fairway mower, the left front tire on it has a wobble to it, and every so often the entire tire will fall off due to the shaft key getting so worn down it won't hold the tire in place anymore, and finds its way to loosen the nut that holds the tire on. Would this be a bearing inside the wheel drive motor? If so can i replace it or do i have to by an entire motor for this tire?

when they were new there was a problem with the motors and hubs, I can't remember the details but we replaced many motors and hubs. I would check the motor shaft for play, check the hub for fit on the shaft, if you find flaw with any of the pieces I'd be replacing the motor, hub, key, and nut all together. If you leave one bad piece in the group, it will cause the others to fail.
