john deere 310 D backhoe

Got on my backhoe the other day and it started right up checked all fluid levels pulled lever down to back up and tractor didn't move pushed lever forward and it didn't move noticed a warning light on
And can't find my book , does anybody have a book on this tractor to help me out
I will keep looking for book but if anybody
Could help me in the right direction I sure would appreciate it. Thanks rwelder

The John Deere D's and E's have a push button parking brake, I believe. It sounds like yours might be on, easy to overlook.
