John Deere 3046r Error Code Plague

Given the intermittent nature of the errors and the fact that shifting in/out of 4WD temporarily fixes the issue, it sounds like you may have a wiring or grounding problem affecting the CAN network. Start by thoroughly inspecting all wiring harnesses, especially around areas prone to vibration or potential rodent damage. Additionally, follow up on any signs of wire damage, as even minor corrosion or fraying could disrupt communication.

I would look close to where the linkage is for the 4wd.

It leads me to believe that 4wd linkage or lever is moving something. Maybe a quick connect or such.

The 110.09 code is an open circuit to the coolant temperature sensor.

Any fix to this? I am having the EXACT same codes and symptoms. It's currently at the dealer because it happens so frequently now that it's unuseable. Only difference is mine will 90% off the time just shut off and not restart till I remove the battery terminals and reconnect. I have jiggled wires, checked plugs etc with no luck. I have no doubt it's a CAN issue because mutiple CAN coms are lost at the same time. But it's interesting the open circuit on the coolant ICC 110.09, is this where the issue is coming from initially?
