john deere 2520

was at jd dealer picking up some parts. and I asked about getting a 2520 he said they are going to quit making it, but would sell me a 2720 for about the same price.he was going to work up a qoute and get back to me. must going to come with a new model .have you guys heard any gossip on this?

There is rumor that next year the X749 equivalent will be released with a roll bar. Perhaps that is replacing it, along with the 1026R. Neither are quite the size of the 2520 though. So, perhaps there will be a new E-series.

I have read that the 1026R is being replaced with the 1025R (blame Tier IV) and that the 2000 Twenty Series is being replaced by the 2R series.
