John Deere 2440 Vertical Muffler Replacement

I want to replace the vertical muffler on my 2440. The muffler from John Deere is about $150. A replacement muffler from Steiner Tractor is $50. What could be the difference in the two mufflers?

The $50 one could be lighter gauge material, could have less baffling (would be a little louder), might be the same, Dealer/ aftermarket issue, I would go for the $50 one and not worry about it.
