New to TBN, first post, and looking for experienced advice on a loaner 110TLB. I have discovered that they are a maintenance nightmare, and I'd love to avoid a friendly visit from a pro if I can reconfigure it myself with service manual procedures. The main goal is to get the beast driving again (engine starts and runs at varying RPM, but no response from forward or reverse pedals)
--Battery was drained by leaving the turn signal on for a couple weeks. When they jumped it, my theory is they scrambled the info of a couple of the required configurations. I charged the battery and got a few flash sequence codes listed below:
1. Short-long-short-short (Forward Pedal Potentiometer). I've seen another post indicating there is a procedure to reconfigure this in the service manual. This is the main impact as I can still vary the engine speed using the throttle lever. I cannot, however, get the beast to drive in forward or reverse.
3. Short-short-long-short (Throttle Position Potentiometer)
7. Long-short-long-short (Creeper Drive Control) I actually was not aware we had a creeper drive... don't judge me.
I have the paper manuals, and will be diving into the procedures, but wanted to see if anyone has advice to get me started. Something like, "Don't bother, with that combo you'll never get it fixed"... that would save me a lot of time.
Or, if there's anyone with a good place to start (besides buying something new...), I appreciate the insight! Also, Or, if anyone reads this and has a specific TBN user that I could PM for better 110TLB advice, that would help greatly as well.
--Thanks All-- J
