John Deere 1070 Hydraulic Problems

I am having problems with my Hydraulics on my 1070. I recently made a trade for a non running 1070. After an engine rebuild and new injector pump, I have no hydraulics. The first mistake I made was filling the tractor with regular Hy Gard instead of the low viscosity stuff. Once the 3 point wouldn't raise I started doing some looking found my mistake. I drained the hydraulic fluid, cleaned the sump screen, and replaced the filter. Still I had no 3 point. I ordered the seal kit for the hydraulic pump and replaced and still no 3 point. I have turned the slow drop valve under the seat and nothing. The power steering is working so I think that I am getting oil to the hydraulic pump since both pumps share the same supply line. Any suggestions would be nice. Before I split the tractor for the engine rebuild the 3 point would raise when I cranked the engine over.

Try unloosening a hose going to your steering cylinder. Then turn the steering wheel to bleed air out of the system.

Well apparently I am a big dummy. After I finished rebuilding the engine I decided I wanted it to be shiny green so taped it all up and shoved rags in all the hoses. Well I missed one. At least I found it and didn't pay the dealer to tell me how dumb I am. Thanks for the help wolftree.

hopefully you didn't pay too much for that paint, people around here seem to think that green paint is expensive.
