Hello everybody,

I am in the process of purchasing a new john deere. I would like a 1025r because it fits my shed and is very agile. It wil be used for cleaning the horses stables, transporting hay bales and maybey some minor mowing. I've got some quotes from dutch dealers starting from 19.000 euro for the tractor alone(1026r 2013 126 hrs), no mower, only front end loader.
I was wondering if US dealers are willing to export, because that saves me around 10.000 dollar.

Can't help you with the export thing. Although, I'd imagine the cost of export fees and shipping would eat up a lot of the price difference.

For clarity, what size/weight hay bales are you wanting to transport??

Welcome to TBN. Really enjoy talking to those around the World. Always interested in seeing how things are done in different areas.

A client of mine imports engine parts from the usa to the netherlands so I can transport the tractor in one of his containers. That should save me money.

The hay bales are round and have a diameter of 95 cm. They weigh 150-200 kgs depending on moist level.
I would also like to move some midi maize bales, the weigh a little less than 350 kgs. This should be the max for a 1025R I gues.
