I would check on getting the pump repaired rather than replaced. There are several injector pump shops in E TX.

I find it hard to believe that a bad injector pump would only affect 1 cylinder. There's only 1 pump, it either works or it doesn't. Perhaps the fuel line to that one cylinder is plugged? Maybe that 1 cylinder has bad compression?

How did they determine this? I'd want more details on a repair that expensive before I did it.

I finally go back to work on my 4700. Checked the plungers in the injector pump , when is was clogged up and I loosened it a while back I must have pushed the 3 cylinder plunger out of line .
The vertical plunjer canal was not in one with the rest, so the 3 rd cylinder alway stayed in the shut off position or low idle.
I took the plunger guide out with a magnet loosened the clamp trough the side opening, rotated the plunger so it is in line with the other 3 and tractor runs good again! Thanks for everybodies input!
