JM 354 operation questions

OK, I do not know very much about tractors so these are probably stupid questions
that I hope someone will bare with me on and answer. What is the round knob directly under the seat? is it a hydro flow control valve, how does it work?
The lever to the right of the seat that is mounted with-in a slotted guide assembly that moves front to back? is that the PTO speed control lever? I know the small lever below this assembly when pulled up allowed my FEL to move so I assume this is the PTO engagement lever. When I attach my rototiller will I be able to use my FEL at the same time?

The knob under/ in front of/ the seat controls the flow of oil out of the lift cylinder when you lower the 3 point. if this is closed off, the lift will NOT drop at all.

I'm not clear on the lever on the right side of the seat, but could be the actual 3 point lift control, two levers, one for draft and the other for position, but I cant think of anything there that would affect the operation of the FEL, unless you have a remote hyd. on the back of the tractor that the FEL is hooked too?

The round knob directly under the seat it is a hydro flow control valve. and the valve has two function. When you screw the round knob.the 3 point lift control will not work or keep the 3 point lift in one position. and the oil flow to the rear hydraulic for working. (you can the rear hydraulic connector under the seat) when you loosen the valve. the 3 point lift will work.
For you said .I think your tractor distributor assembly is outside of the Hydraulic power lift.Not the inside type .the Hydraulic power lift is not with two levers.only one lever used for controling 3 point lift "upper and down"
You can see the knob write with 540/720 .The control lever is for PTO speed.
When you attach your rototiller .you can use your FEL at the same time

Lets do this from sitting on the seat, left side is a control to select pto speed, back is 540 forward is 720. Under the front of the seat is the control knob that adjusts the speed of your 3 point hitch drop, if you tighten it all the way it diverts hydraulic oil to the remote and will work a single acting cylinder like for a dump trailer.
The 2 controls on the right the long one is draft the short one is position. If you use draft the short control must be all the way up if you want to use position the draft control must be all the way up. Position is a hard control in other words where you set it the 3pth stays, the draft will float to run a implement with the contour of the ground, such as a brush hog or tiller. One of these 2 controls should be in the up position to use the other.
