Jinma Taskmaster 425A starter question

I thought I needed a QD1332C.

The nose of the starter does not fit into the bell housing of tractor. It has a lip (pic below), where the original does not.

Can anyone tell me the correct part number? Thanks

I would probably have taken the original into a local starter repair shop. If not economical to repair it they would have found the correct replacement. My local shop fixed me up with a replacement for my Mitsubishi tractor - worked like a charm.

bought another starter that was the wrong size and swapped all the parts.

tested it with jumper cables and a battery and it worked.

now to put it back on the tractor..

five months later and several returned starters finally got one put together.

started but didn't stay running.

today fresh diesel and I bet I'll be in business.
