Chipper Jinma Chipper assembly

After reading the forums on this site, I decided to buy a Jinma Chipper, I thought that you may like to see how it arrives and the assembly process.

OOps...it fell over!

After getting the base on, the assembly was not bad...Chinese directions were sad to say the least....I had to refer to the picture on the cover of the manual for most of the assembly! It seems to work well....I will be giving it a good run this friday...will post pics of that event.

Andrew,the woodchipper is not a Jinma ,it's a copy Look at Jinma 6 inch Wood Chipper and implements including backhoes,frontloaders, LE Version Tractor website and it has comparison pics.Check all the blade bolts and flywheel bolts I have heard that they were using hex head bolts on the flywheel which can cause problems and make sure the blade bolts are fully recessed into the blade.Some of the Jinma parts will interchange but not all of them.

Hmmm...thats the way KPX represented it to me when I pressed them about who manufactured it. Seems like a good unit for what I need to do.

Andrew, congraulation on your chipper and hope it does well for you.

All my sources/info has shown me that it is not a true Jinma chipper but a copy. I also think some of the parts with interchange but not all.

I'm pretty sure your tractor could have lifted it for assembly if you had taken the bucket off and used the quick attach arms to lift with.

Run some chain through both quick attach arms and then down to the chipper lift brackets. Insert a 3/4" pin and you are set to go. This method would help in two ways. First, it would eliminate the extra weight of the bucket. That would save 300# + The second would be that the chippers weight would be a couple feet closer to the tractor. That would help tremoundously. Doing both of those things would effectively increase your lift capacity an extra 600# or more.

Use BOTH quick attach arms, not just one. Using one could allow for the FEL arms to get out of whack. Using both will spread the 850# load evenly, just like you were using the bucket full of dirt. Each bracket would be subjected to half the total load.

Agreed, that isn't a Jinma Chipper. It looks like a it will do the job for you though.
Interesting way they did the feed roller disengage and lift arms. More ideas beginning to formulate, hmmmmm.

By the way, the feed performance in that movie is terrible. The guy is having to push and never gets all the limbs sucked in. Are his rollers set wrong??

I cant open them either. I have one and for branchy and leafy stuf you have to push usually.
