I repair Esab and Miller plasma cutters. There's a ton of Chinese integrated circuits and opto-receptors in them. You know what? Those never seem to be the problem. These units are in pro fab shops and being used by guys who grew up using an OA torch to cut, so most times it's "user error" or dirty reflectors in the OSHA mandated case integrity circuit, followed closely by bad (jerked out of the wall too many times) plugs. The Chinese have got it together on microchips and wafer fab. They will turn the corner (soon, IMO) on tractor mfg.

Very good info on that page unfortunately some of the links on that page are dead. But the one on his hydraulic pump he replaced showed no visible damage like mine. I think I am definitely going to order a pump Monday.

With the problems you are having, it will be guaranteed to be something simple that is causing the problem (s). Just don't get too carried away with why it isn't working. Just thank your lucky starts it isn't a tractor that relies on sensors for proper operation - like the main stream manufacturers. Then it would become a costly proposition.
At the end of the day it will probably be something real simple.

Turned out to be the pump. I got a new pump in today but funny thing is the pump was not assembled correctly the orientation of the drive shaft of it was opposite to arrangement of side inlet. Called Keno they said that is orientation of all their pumps. On a hunch because I had took apart the old one the drive shaft and gear could be flipped around so I took apart flipped it around put it back together and put it on there. Works great! Note to Spiker though about assembling the pump loose don't know about that because when I took apart the new one the bolts were really tight so when I put it back together I tightened them the same. Again no leaks and works.

Keno mentioned everyone has had no luck with there seal kits for the pumps because the shaft seal is the wrong size but they threw one in for free to try and sure enough wrong size. I am going to try to hunt a kit down that is right so I can have a spare pump. Brings to mention the inconsistency in parts for these. Seal kits that wont work, Pumps assembled wrong, Bearing seats that are too short, Hydraulic filter strainer assembly too long(made it work by scrapping the screen off it and putting on the old assembly. Tomorrow I will put it to work hope nothing breaks LOL Knock on wood.
