Jerky 3-pt lift

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can tell me the likely reason my TS1610F does'nt lift my tiller very smoothly. The tiller jerks up in steps as I lift it with the lever. Plenty of hydraulic oil. Haven't checked the suction strainer yet. Could this be it? Any other possibilities to look for? Thanks,

The pump valves could be gummed up and sticking.

Under the seat of mine is a spinner knob that affects the speed of the 3 point lifting action. Try that also. Sounds like hopefully just a filter issue. Have you ever changed the fluid? Oil floats on water, and changing the fluid every so often is just a good idea, as the strainer dosn't do a great job of keeping it truly clean.
