hi im jdtractor i currently farm approx. 150acres here in southwesternpa. i hope my experience will be of some help with farming questions and some ansers. i have over 40yrs under my belt farming ,150 hd beef cattle which i dont do anymore ,just hay farmnow. i own a john deere 5093 4x4 fel included, vemeer 3pth disc mower, vemeer, tedder,vemeer, v rake,and john deere 457 round baler. i also own john deere 450E dozer with 6way blade. i have run several peices of heavy equipment as far as dozers ,hilifts, sidebooms,etc.... i have been around dozers all my life ,running them working on them since knee hi to a dog ,my dad had several ,along with all the farming equipment john deere ever made around 1957 or so. i hope to learn something and be of some help to you all thank you.i consider my self a jack of all trades ,theres not too much i havent done.
