Front-End Loader Jd990 loader problem

Ok I started out mounting a koyker loader on buddies 990 and only way I could get it to work is raise 3pt hitch up close valve off to closed center which it kills rear lift but the loader works fine open the valve back up kills loader but lift works so what am I doing wrong how can I get both to work same time
