jd850 950 frames

is a jd850 and 950 2x2 the same frames just more hp.any one know? thanks

Actually the 850 and 950 were almost entirely different machines. Different engine, transmission gears were different, rear axles, hydraulics, etc. I think the 2wd models had same front axle, but otherwise entirely different machine although very similar in appearance.

Well, that's different. A model 75 loader should fit them both. There may be different mounting brackets for 2wd and 4wd though.

Actually, if you can believe the data on tractordata.com, it looks like the 850 and 950 shared the Model 80 loader. That would tell me the frames and blocks were pretty similar, but maybe they did have different mounting brackets for the uprights to lock onto?

yes they do look a lot a like. i bought a 2x2 jd850. i had some guys looking for jd950 loaders.i just got a jd 670 in today for a loader.so i can pattern that.the links help a lot thank you.
