JD670 (770) Rockshaft cover and the Lift Lever Linkage problem to solve

Does anyone have experiences removing the rockshaft cover on a 670? My 3 point only moves a small amount and I am thinking the lever control linkages may be bent. While digging a post hole is only came up 1/2 way. The loader works fine so I am suspecting my pressure is good. Anyone seen those hidden parts failing in the lever control linkages? Maybe bent or broken? I can't see them and the parts are under that cover

Thanks Joe, but I have a copy of the manual. After seeing it it was why I thought the linkage could be the problem
