I am going to sell my 2000 model JD335. Has 250 hours with a 48"C deck. Also comes with 48" push blade. Decent shape and been service regularly.

Questions, what would this be worth?
Should I wait till spring to sell?

I don't know the answer. But I can give you my point of view. I was just looking for a new garden tractor with a big deck and a front blade. If I saw your's advertised in my town I would have checked it out. How much would I have paid for it?

$3,000 maybe. Fair deal from my side of things. Still a lot of money. If you said you would deliver it, and it looked in good shape, then yeah what the heck.

$2,000 ok. Probably still would have scratched my head, but I would have taken it.

$1,000 steal of the century.

$4,000 ? No. Too much for used. I could buy a new JD for not much more than that. I know, your's has a blade, and is tax free. Still, I wouldn't feel comfortable.

Will someone else pay $4,000? Maybe. Probably.

$5,000? I think that's too high. A dealer might sell it used for that much. Or maybe they'd deal down to $4,000 if they really wanted to sell it.

Would a dealer give you $4,000 for it? If so, then they'd sell it for $5,000.

Disclaimer: I could be way off on the prices. Just my 2 cents from the buyer's perspective.
