Traction JD2320 wider axle

Does anyone know if making a wider wheel base on a JD2320 is possible ? I have many steep hills and need more stability. Any manufacturer/kit recommendations would be appreciated.

Good chance you could get wheel 'spacers' for that tractor.

Are the wheels set to the wide position now? Yes, you can get wheel spacers if you want, there is lots of discussion on them-search the term "spacers" here in the JD forum.

Hi Hopster & All, in my 3120 manual, it gives me 8 different tyre positions ( if u have "Dished" wheels) in my manual its under Service Miscellaneous. when my tractor arrived, i too felt the unit was too unstable, dealer turned wheels around (ie dish outward) then changed the rim attachment to the inside - now my tyres run partly outside the mudguard line, but is much more stable - check what width u can achieve b4 buying spacers - might save u a good few $.

Thanks for all the info. I also found that Unverferth will make hub extensions to a maximum of 8'. Looks like around $500. JD Dealer looking up details now.
