The 3PH attachements are likely to be compatible with the 4010/4110/4115 series, but because of the location of the hydraulic connection and the joystick, NOT for front attachments like the loader.
My information is that the BH will be a subframe mounted hoe, I expect that it will somehow fit both the 2210 and the 4010/4110/4115. In addition enough experience will be available from those BX22 guinea pigs (current owners/users) /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif to probably improve substantially on the BH design and feature specifications.
The info you have on the backhoe, does it say if the subframe for the backhoe will be able to stay on when the backhoe is removed to install the mid mount mower?
Pete sent me a good .pdf file on the 2210, but it didn't address a backhoe. (he does get offended when one questions the Green Giant on their strategy of releasing the 2210, otherwise a good fellow)
Last I checked you had a BX22. All the literature and posts I've read state how easily the implements can be attached and removed, is this true with yours?
The info I have about the backhoe came from the dealership, and I specifically requested for it. The dealers should know, as I have a copy of the bulletin sent to the JD dealers in August that promised a November availabilty for the 2210. When I was being given my quote, the book had 2210 sections there so I know that the quote was not just a show by the dealer.
For the BX22, there is a frame welded to the underside of the chassis to which the BH rests in addition to being coupled to the back of the machine. And both the BH and the MMM can be on the machine at the same time. It is conceivable that a BX2200 can have the same frame welded or bolted on.
My experience is that it takes less than 5 minutes, to remove and attach the BH, FEL and even the MMM. Most folks putting down the machine have never operated one, in my experience and opinion as a non-farmer it is more than adequate, and my property is not a cakewalk. It will be nice if somebody else will step up to the plate with a competitor to the BX22. For now, there is none.
If you get a chance to talk with your source again, I would like to know if it will be compatable with the 4100? Or does the new 4110 has a different frame modification than the 4100?
I had a chance to look at a 2210 yesterday while getting oil and filter for my tractor. It was in the showroom with a loader on it. Pretty sharp looking tractor though too small for my needs.
The thing that caught my eye was a mid-mounted grader blade on a X400 series garden tractor. It was about 4 feet wide and only 6 or 8 inches high but it looked like just the ticket for gravel drive maintenance. I wonder if something like that will be available for the compacts /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
I was quoted $11,250 for the 2210 with a 54 inch MMM, the loader was $2000 I think he said a grill gard was $65. The dealer I went to had two of them. One was already sold.
My BX2200 was less than $12,000 with 60 inch MMM and FEL with GG. I liked the 2210 but I didn't think it was worth $1400 more than the Kubota.
