JD2210 500 Hour Maintenance

While awaiting spring I figured I'd look at what maintenance the compact tractor would need.

It states @500 hours to do a valve adjustment and "check fuel injectors".

The valve adjustment looks simple enough but the only item in the service manual for fuel injectors is a off engine test which has specialized equipment.

I haven't talked to dealership, so maybe it's something they can do, but is this a need to do or if tractor is running fine just leave alone?

I had the same question for my JD 5205 and the dealer's response: "if it ain't broke ........"

The most critical pending doom maintenance item on a 2210 is greasing the u-joints on the power shaft from engine to transaxle. Have you done that?

Mine has 900 hrs with no valve or injector maintenance.
