Oil & Fuel JD140 Fuel Leak

I have a 74 JD140 that has fuel leaking out of the Carb. bore while it is not running.
Any ideas?

Sounds like the float and/or float needle is sticking. You might try some carb. cleaner additive. It could be the float is out of adjustment or the needle is worn but most likely the float sticking just enough to let fuel pass the needle when it's not running.
