JD pull type picker

Today dad told me he ended up with a JD pull type corn picker. Someone had cut thetongue out of it and and put a 3 point and put 2 bushhog wheels on the back. They attempted to made a 3 point rig out of it. I got the tongue and the original wheels are still on it. I need to find some replacement fingers or rebuild the old ones they had rusted off. The folks he got it from used it last year. I dont have any corn ground, i may rent some and try to run the picker if I get it to work ok. I havent seen it up close. I never have run a corn picker before. I m hoping to get it on Christmas break. My wife says I really needed it lol.

Im looking at a JD pulltype combine I found to. I wanted an AC all crop butthey are all gone here.
I m also trying to trade a man for an old AC Roto baler. I d like to have some of this equipment for my little hobby farm.

I'd love to see pics of the setup they tried with the 3pt modification. Sounds like that wouldn't work well, but I'd love to see pics be4 you get rid of it.

What model is it, mist be older one, the newer (relatively) pickers wouldn't adapt to 3pt at all....
