JD GT 235 Battery

I bought my GT235 5/00. I have always serviced it regularly. I believe the time has come to replace the battery. I know it's not quite 13 years old but I think I did pretty well on the original one. Anyone know what brand JD used to put in back in 2000. Mine just has the JD logo on it. I would really like to replace with another 12+year battery.

Hmm does that mean my JD235 battery may be due too?I think the guy I bought it from got it around 2000 and it too has the original battery.well some things do last.

Get a DieHard, probably the best thing that Sears still sells. Honestly though, they are hard to beat.
