I’ve got weld on chain hooks on backs of all my JD global buckets.

I didn’t want to weld hooks on my grapple bucket incase I ever installed a grapple later on down the road.

So I cut one ear off 3/8 chain Clevis hooks welded them to 3pt hitch swivel balls with 1” bore & bolted them to the grapple lower brackets

Nice. I got the 61" (or is it 62?) HD bucket for my 3033R, and man... that thing is heavy on that machine!

Not sure why they are on lower rear of bucket most hook installation are on top of bucvket to hold things in bucket, care to expalin.... But great work in installation...

Lifting HEAVY objects needs to be closer to the tractor plus it’ll lift higher from down their on bottom.
Imo.

Each application it different.

I lift more than I’m chaining in the bucket.
