The tax man was good to me this year so I paid off my loan through JD. It has been about 3 weeks since I sent them the check and have not heard a thing from them. When I pull my account online it shows I have a balance of -$2.28 so I know they got the money. Shouldn't I be receiving a Cert of origin or at least a letter stating that my loan is paid? Thanks in advance Kevin

I guess I don't get why your posting this question. I'll have to ask why not - 1.) email JD Credit and ask the question; or 2.) call JD credit and ask about your account.

Then you'll get the real answer directly from the people who will either send you a payoff notice or not.

I believe that you will get a signed off copy of your original contract--showing that it was fulfilled. IIRC it was about a month after final payment--but a call to them is the best advice.

Hey- I'm in the same boat- I paid off my JD Credit account a year early and just got in the mail yesterday a check for $12.xx, I assume for interest earned or ?? I figure JD will send a receipt soon for the payoff, this hasn't been on my highest list of priorities lately- fixing broken water pipes is.

Good Luck!

I don't remember exactly but I received my paperwork back about 4 - 6 weeks after I paid off my tractor.
