I have a 1998 John Deere 855. I have to replace the fuse block on it as one of the sockets is messed up. In order to access the wiring, I have to remove either the fuel tank or the dash, and I would prefer to remove the dash since I just filled it up with fuel. If you guys have any tips on removing the steering wheel and the dash on the tractor, that would be greatly appreciated. I should be able to handle the wiring without any troubles as I've done a lot of electrical work in the past. Thanks for the help.

Dude..
How did you come out on this problem? Fixed?

Didn't illicit much help, but assume you figured out something.

My thought is I'd go the easy route. If just one socket messed up I'd clean and flux what's there then solder a pigtail fuse holder in place, use same amperage fuse.
