JD 820 Antifreeze/Coolant Suggestions

Well that's what I've been told over the yrs even way back in the 70's-late 80's when I attended tractor dealer service schools. Sorry I don't have any documentation & I'll bet the quality of tap water isn't as good today as it was 40 yrs ago.

Your souce of information for: "tap water is prone to causing cavitation" please ?

I have read this in several places myself. I didn't bookmark the info, I just filed it in my head. There are many new engine manufacturers that will not warranty an engine that has been topped up with tap water and they have test kits for tap water. That's part of the reason why so many places offer premixed antifreeze for sale.
