Yikes! Looks like you've been feeding rats.

My new battery went dead after a day of working.. head lights on. It's only spot I could find like that but I figured mice/rats.

Is there a nest nearby or was there one over this spot ?

Spray the area down with some bleach/water mix and it will discourage mice from coming back to this spot. They return to spots where other mice leave urine smells as sort of a gathering place.
