Well the old 750 is back among the living again!
clutch $448.00
starter $418.00
hearing that old 750 purring like a kitten PRICELESS!
1983 John Deere 750 w/67 loader /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif $500.00 for the tractor and about 20 hrs labor. next step ag tires and rims,single bottom plow and disk harrows, bush hog /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thoses Yanmar engines are tuff to beat. And the 750 was a nice little unit espically at that price, LOL.

I need new rims for my 650 in the back, the fronts are OK though. Send me a message if you find an aftermarket company that makes them. Otherwise, it's a been a good little tractor so far.

Bought my 750 new 20 years ago. two years ago the differential bolts sheared off. Cost me $1100 to fix it. Use it hard so not complaining. Try fitting the 11.4's out back instead of the 9.50's standard ag size to the tractor. If yours is 4wd, go to the 7x14's instead of the 6's in front. With the ag's its a different tractor. If you need traction, fill the backs. I move things around with my 750 that surprises lots of people including myself.

yea i have to load the rears soon and was going to make a concrete block for the hitch and run tire chains this winter
