JD 750 needs new wheels

Hi I own a John Deere 750. I am the second one to own it. It still has its original turf tires and they are coming to the end . Do any of you have some insights into what R4 tires would fit? I want a little more traction. thanks

This question should go in the Deere forums, not in the new member intro.
But..........
Probably will need to get rims as well as tires if changing to R-4's.

Check with your Deere dealer to see what is in the books.

Once you have the size of the rims (stamped on the rim), then I'd suggest going on-line to see what is available.

Welcome to TBN Faux. If you change your mind and want to keep your turf tires......I have a set of turf FRONT tires and wheels I may sell. They are from my 790 (same size I think) and the guy before me bought them for his lawn needs. I never use 'em. They are like new. I'm in MN.

Turf wheels and tire sizes are typically a breed of their own. It is usually very difficult and in many cases not possible to get a r4 ind or r1 ag tire for a turf wheel. In the cases that you can it can be difficult to maintain a correct rolling radius from front to rear. Your best option is to take your tire size to a tire shop and have them check for you. Otherwise buying new wheels is your next option. This is typically just a problem for the rear wheels/tires fronts are most often available in any style.
