Vehicles are the anomaly having negative ground systems. There now.. that should elicit some responses.

Say whaat?? I was an electronic tech for much of my career and most electronic equipment I've worked on has been negative ground. I'll take your word on telco stuff.

Even the smaller keys system that ran on -24 volts instead of -48 are positive ground.. everything Telco is positive ground. Not that it matters. I just brought it up to see what people would say.

Well, I might as well jump in too. I once owned a 1973 Norton motorcycle that was positive grounded. That should at least qualify/fit the bill for as a later year. Hope that helps some. Greg
