Thinking of buying a 2004 JD 5203. Is it a good tractor. Price 9500.00

I bought a JD 5203 last Mar, I dearly love it but, I am not a serious "tractor person,'' use it mostly to piddle around our acreage. It works very well with my 6' HD leinback 16x20 harrow and both the 6' box blade and landscape rakes. I also pull a 6' Hardee bush hog with no problem

Mine was an '06 with 137 hours, paid $11,400. Your price of $9500, if low hours, sounds very good. The 5203 is a very good medium tractor, I believe it's 56 hp on the motor and 48 on PTO. I have 50 acres and it has served me well thus far. Good luck with it!

As herd said plus... I've got a 5103 and the only issue I've had is I should have gone with the wider tires "16.9's". I've got 165 hours in two years clearing land, mowing, using the FEL and other tasks. A very capable machine. BTW; I paid a little bit over $20k new with FEL, 6' mower and box blade.
