JD 5105 no start

Hey there . So I have this 5105 . Seat was siezed and wouldn't slide so listed it off tractor to grease it, unplugged two safety wires under seat and there is a largish wire on one of rear bolts holding seat down , I assume it's a ground. Anyway greased seat put it back and plugged in two safety wires ales large wire on bolt to tractor rear end at back of seat, simple. But now the dang thing will not turn over, lights work but it's as though range lever was not in neutral or some other safety device. No clue where to start looking any help appreciated.

The seat switch does not affect starting, but if not working the PTO alarm will go off when you use the PTO.

The only safety switches are the PTO and tractor in neutral.

I have attached a starting system for the 5105. Start by check that the PTO is off.

Start where you began. Verify all switch connectors to the seat are tightly fit together and the 'ground' bolt has a solid connection where paint is not interfering with the ground function. Try to start again.
