I have the prior model of the 5065E which is the 5303. I have been pleased with mine. It is a 2008 and to my knowledge is almost identical if not. I pull a 8' 3pt disc harrow and most other implements are 6' stuff. No problems with any of it. Good luck!

Believe I am around 625 hrs now. I bought used with less than 300 hrs if I remember correctly. You can spend more money for more features, but compared to what I grew up using these models are fancy to me and I like the simple design. I expect to have many years and hours service out of this tractor.

Yeh can't afford anymore options such as power reverser etc.. without dropping size. Thanks for the info and I like the simpleness of the tractor also.

I would love to have that Reverser transmission. Of all options available, including cab, that is the one I would add first. Over length of ownership and probably financing too, it is a small price to pay with long lasting benefit. I may one day decide to update to one, but not any time soon.

make sure you drive those things. the difference between a 9x3 gear and a 8x8 hyd shuttle are night and day.

I agree, especially the shuttle for loader work and 4 speeds in each range haying.

My uncle has a little bit older 5xxx and the 9x3 is my biggest complaint.

If was purchasing new, the Reverser would be a must have. I like the idea of having the same forward and reverse travel speed. It is not ideal in my opinion on the 9/3. The reverse on B range is a touch too fast for my preference.

Amen Buddy. I traded a sync-shuttle for a hyd shuttle and would never won't to go back to pushing clutch pedal down to change direction of travel while loading/unloading rd bales.
