my 5045d will not start I parked it and tried to start it the next day it turned over a couple different times and now will not do anything. I had lights on the dash until I put a new battery in it. I have 12.7v to the starter which was replaced a couple months ago, all fuses are good but when I turn the key I don’t hear a click from the starter relay. I have already got rid of the cold start feature that are notorious for going out. Any thoughts?

Let's eliminate the easy stuff. Did you install the battery correctly - that is with the negative terminal to ground? Did you clean the posts and the connectors on the cables before installing them? Did you inspect the connectors and cables for corrosion? Tighten them securely - if you can move them they're not tight. Follow the negative cable to the frame ground. Clean and tighten there. Measure the battery voltage, it should bee about 12.6. When you attempt to crank the tractor it should go lo lower than about ten volts. If it goes lower your new battery may be defective, have it load tested. After trying these things we're ready to start troubleshooting.
